As 2011 wound to a close, Comics Buyer's Guide took time to look back at what happened in the world of comics and look ahead to 2012. It starts with our cover, designed by CBG Graphic Designer Shawn Williams! Inside, Andrew “Captain Comics” Smith and CBG Editor Brent Frankenhoff look back at the highlights of the year. Craig “Mr. Silver Age” Shutt goes further back to the middle of the Silver Age and reviews the comics of 1966. Maggie Thompson also has a review in this issue, focusing on the first volume of Pogo and spotlighting the many anniversaries and significant birthdays of 2012.
